Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984, is one of the wealthiest and most well-known comedian. She has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as her stage title Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actress, writer and stand-up comedian. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after appearing in small roles in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. From 2012 on Bea began appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. In 2012, after winning an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for different panel shows, where she has become a fixture. She was captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is a regular contestant in its spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she has one sister called Sinead. She was only the second ever female winner of So You Think You're Funny. Bea is her surname to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is an Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. She was born March 16th 1984. Bea's father Brian was a veterinarian for horses that committed suicide when she was just three years old. She didn't discover the reason of her death until thirteen years later. To honor her dad, she took the stage name Bea and in 2017, published an article on suicides and deaths that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a former professional jockey. Their family was enthralled by race meetings and horses. Bea had a job as a Tour Guide at the Irish National Stud. From an early age, Bea knew that she was not interested in a racing career. Instead, she was drawn to the artistic arts.
